General Motors: At Your Service
OnStar At Your Service (AYS) in General Motors Vehicles
General Motors vehicles such as Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac are built with OnStar At Your Service (AYS) technology. This gives subscription users (drivers) the capability to access money-saving offers on products and services. General Motors took on IBM for this connected customer experience to help grow the merchant experience.
Designer for General Motors AYS
As a part of the IBM team, I worked alongside the sales and business team to integrate each merchant properly. Whether it be repeat ordering of a meal at the nearest drive-through McDonalds so it's ready for pick up just in time for the customer when he/she arrives or obtaining directions to the nearest Shell gas station, reserving the pump, and preparing payment, I helped design the appropriate step by step interaction.
Project Details
This project is consistently adding new merchants. IBM set up the initial experience and layouts for various merchants.

Shell Integration into At Your Service
At Your Service: Shell
Filling gas can be a lengthy process whether or not you are familiar with the area. By combining General Motor's AYS technology and IBM, we created an experience to allow the driver to utilize the dashboard to take action on various merchant activities.
This reel specifically shows the "Find Location" feature for Shell. The GM owner subscribed to AYS simply taps into Shell from the initial dashboard, then indicates he/she would like to find a location. From here, it is up to him/her to decide which station is the best fit. Through viewing mileage and location details, it is easy to tap through the screen to eventually navigate to the end point.
Beyond this, the user can pre-pay and drive right up to the noted pump to save even more time, if necessary!
